The DrugWipe single test was launched in 1998, followed just two years later by the DrugWipe Twin, a test capable of detecting two drugs simultaneously. After that, the new products and enhancements kept coming – a 5‑parameter saliva test was developed to detect cannabis, cocaine, opiates, amphetamines and methamphetamines in a single sample, while ergonomic housing with an integrated solvent made testing even easier. In 2003, Securetec exceeded the magic figure of 1 million rapid screening tests sold in a single year.
The DrugWipe 6 S product line made it possible to also detect the consumption of benzodiazepines and ketamine/PCP. Since 2016, DrugWipe 5 S has been delivering test results after just 5 minutes.
