Withstand a ten-meter fall without damage, endure extreme temperatures, defy weather disasters – B&W International develops and produces protective cases and bags that can do just that: protect sensitive items from external influences and damage during transport, even under the toughest operating conditions.Since 1998, the Ibbenbüren-based company has been producing a comprehensive portfolio of services and solutions for the mobile protection of valuables. Customers come from all sectors of the economy, including automotive companies, medical and measurement technology manufacturers, chemical and pharmaceutical companies, construction and craft businesses; in addition, the police, fire brigade, ambulance services and the military are among the international clientele.

Innovative solutions and materials

The basis for case production at B&W International is plastics such as ABS, HDPE and PP+, a special specification of thermoplastic polypropylene that is extremely impact resistant even at low temperatures, remains dimensionally stable and absorbs falls or shocks better than many other materials.The innovations from Ibbenbüren include, for example, the special cases developed by the company for the transportation of lithium-ion batteries that are used worldwide. They carry the UN 4H2 certificate, which even allows the transportation of high-performance batteries that can explode or catch fire in airplanes. The properties of these special protective cases meet the military standards of armed forces such as NATO, the US Air Force or the US Navy.Development and production partner for industryIn addition to an extensive product portfolio of various special cases that are already certified for almost all applications, B&W International designs and produces customized transport solutions for industry. This allows companies to have cases developed for their high-quality products that not only fulfill specific protective functions but are also adapted to the company design in terms of shape and color, thus creating a strong external impact. A dedicated engineering department with industrial designers and engineers takes on this task. Today, B&W International works hand in hand with many well-known companies as an industrial partner – as an advisor, developer, producer, service provider.

Mobile protection is complemented by modular service components. These include test series or the independent certification of case solutions designed exclusively for customers. The service portfolio includes an after-sales service that covers the entire product life cycle. In addition, customers are supported in marketing activities.
